Avery is one smart cookie! She figured out a race car game on Robert's phone, and even watched him do his swipe password and now can do it herself. She figured out quickly that signing works better when she needs something, such as signing that she is hungry.
The guide was very impressed because she spoke her dialect with her nanny, but then spoke to him in Mandarin. We watched her sign her name in Chinese characters at the passport office. She is just in second grade, but it looked great!
She can say thank you, your welcome, trash, up, down, big, please mama, Robert and repeated all her sisters names. I have no doubt she will learn English very quickly. We have not even had her for two days yet!
She is stubborn and knows what she wants. She also has a sense of humor. I can't get her to wear a hairbow, but she was happy to put one in Robert's hair! Watch out Jordan and Morgan, I see hairbows in your future, LOL!
